ED WILKINS was in uncharted territory at the crease on Saturday in the West of England Premier League Division Two.
The Goatacre captain has been playing first-team cricket for his home club for over 15 years, but never has he come even close to a feat that was suddenly in touching distance: with just one ball left of his side’s innings, he needed three to fire them to the mythical total of 500.
