WHILE Potters Bar have been robbed of several of their brightest young talents in recent years, Mark Shepherd is glad to see them go on to the upper echelons of the game.
The likes of George Scott, left, Thilan Walallawita and Charlie Scott at Middlesex, and Teddy Duke at Essex, all cut their teeth at the Hertfordshire Premier League side.
And while the outfit have never won the title in their division, Shepherd believes that watching their youngsters go on to forge a future in the game yields more satisfaction.
