JOY was soon followed by despair at Castleford after Dan Robson and Umair Khan put on a recordbreaking tenth wicket partnership – before falling just short of a famous win against Sessay.
The Yorkshire Premier League North side rallied from 120-9 with Robson and Khan at the crease to try to reach Sessay’s target of 258-5 but ran out of overs before they could get there – eventually finishing just 30 runs shy.
