Mr Brown’s Boys swept aside

WITH the football season fast approaching, Southend United manager Phil Brown swapped studs for spikes as he tried his hand at cricket.
Brown took his side to Southend & EMT Cricket Club for a 20-over match where the Blues suffered a 20-run defeat.
Despite the loss at Southchurch Park, Brown admitted he thoroughly enjoyed switching sports for the afternoon.
