Hard graft pays off for Penzance

PENZANCE captain Brad Wadlan is confident the club’s hard work during pre-season is doing the trick after they won a top-of-the-table clash with Truro last Saturday.
Truro were bowled out for just 109 as James Sykes took 4-16 for Wadlan’s men and an unbeaten half century from Christian Purchase saw the visitors home by four wickets.
The win moves Penzance above Truro by a single point and they’re now just ten behind league leaders and reigning champions St Just.
