Man, 68, is charged with racial abuse of umpire Haq

A 63-year-old man has been charged by police after former Scotland international Majid Haq was allegedly racially abused whilst umpiring a game at Greenock Cricket Club last weekend.
Scottish Police confirmed that a man had been “arrested and charged in connection with racial abuse” and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
