JENNY Gunn’s unbeaten half-century helped Northern Diamonds snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in a thriller against Lightning at Grace Road.
Diamonds looked out of it at 119-7 in pursuit of 227 but Gunn and former England teammate Beth Langston had other ideas, adding 81 for the eighth wicket.
Phoebe Graham joined Gunn and saw Diamonds over the line, hitting the winning boundary from the penultimate ball of the 49th over.
