Spirit of youth gives Ireland renewed hope for the future

IRELAND Cricket legend Niall O’Brien has high hopes for the future after the new brigade scored an historic One-Day victory against world champions England at the Ageas Bowl on Tuesday.
The Emerald Isle pulled off only their second win against England and their first ODI victory against major opposition since the 2015 World Cup, with Niall’s brother Kevin - the century hero of Bangalore in their famous 2011 scalp - hitting the winning run after centuries from Paul Stirling and captain Andy Balbirnie had laid the foundations.
