AN EIGHT-YEAR drought is over for Somerset, so it’s no wonder Tom Abell is counting down the days until their date with destiny.
The skipper became the first man to lead the county into a Lord’s final since 2011 – when they lost to Surrey in the Clydesdale Bank 40 – after they comprehensively outplayed Nottinghamshire in last Sunday’s semi-final.
