KENT’S propensity for turning long-serving batsmen into allrounders paid dividends once again as Daniel Bell-Drummond starred against Surrey to finally earn a first One-Day Cup win of the season.
Bell-Drummond had never taken a single List A wicket, and bowled less than three overs, in his 86-match career before yesterday but his right-arm medium-pacers took 2-22 as Surrey were skittled for 127.
