Ex-Australia batsman Michael Slater removed from flight

Former Australia batsman and cricket commentator Michael Slater has apologised after being led off a plane for ‘disruptive’ behaviour.
Slater’s representatives refuted reports he had locked himself in the toilet onboard the flight travelling from Qantas to the New South Wales town of Wagga Wagga.
But they did reveal Slater got into an argument two friends prior to boarding leading to him being removed by the airline.
“I apologise for the inconvenience this caused other passengers on the flight,” Slater said in a statement.
The Channel Nine pundit and commentator played in 74 Tests during his illustrious playing career, finishing the 1994-95 Ashes series as the leading run-scorer with 623.
