De Leede leads the Dutch to a big win

THE NETHERLANDS women clinched their first ever victory over Ireland as they rallied to a seven-wicket win in a rain-affected Twenty20 game at Malahide.Ireland had already secured victory in the series thanks to Thursday’s six-wicket win and Monday’s 28-run success which put them 2-0 up with two further matches abandoned due to the weather.But the Dutch finally got the victory they craved on Friday night thanks to Babette de Leede’s unbeaten 62 which helped them achieve the DLS-adjusted target of 118 from 15 overs with nine balls to spare.The Dutch got off to...
