The Times and Sunday Times coverage just got even better
Times and Sunday Times, now with cricket highlights.
Times members can follow cricket on the go like never before, with video highlights sent direct to your smartphone and tablet on The Times new sports app.
Starting with the visit of Sri Lanka, The Times will show near-live clips of all the action plus highlight packages regularly updated throughout the day.
The deal takes in all of England’s home games including Test matches, one day internationals and Twenty20 games. After the Sri Lanka series, India visit in July followed by New Zealand early next year and culminating in the Ashes.
It adds to the terrific bundle of sports action you can already get free with your membership, including Barclays Premier League highlights and clips from Aviva Premiership Rugby.

So what do I get?
Action from all of England’s games played in the UK over the next two years, beginning with Sri Lanka’s tour this month and culminating in the 2015 Ashes.
How much action can I look forward to?
Up to six clips every hour plus highlight packages throughout the day. You won’t miss a wicket, boundary or dropped catch. Or the rain. Don’t forget the rain.
Where do I find them?
In the new Times Sport app which you can download on your smartphone or tablet from the iTunes store or Google Play. Simply search “Times Sport”.
Can I also watch the cricket in the current Times app?
Yes, the end of play highlights will sit alongside the match report. But the near-live clips are only available in the Times Sport app.
What about online?
You will be able to watch shortened highlights packages on thetimes.co.uk and thesundaytimes.co.uk. But no near-live clips.
I live abroad – will I be able to see them?
It depends where you are. We have the rights to show them in countries in the EU, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and adjacent islands, USA, Canada and the Caribbean.
What about county cricket?
You will also be able to see video highlights from selected domestic matches throughout the season. They will be LV= County Championship, one-day or Twenty20 matches.
So, I get free cricket videos and a sports app. I’m going to be greedy – what else?
