REECE TOPLEY reckons patience held the key to his career-best t20 bowling figures in Surrey’s emphatic nine-wicket win over Hampshire.
Left-arm seamer Topley took 4-20 against his former club at the Ageas Bowl as Rory Burns’ side restricted Hants to just 138-8, with only Ian Holland (65) offering any real resistance. And a destructive 81no from Laurie Evans combined with Will Jacks’ (56no) anchoring propelled the London side to victory with 4.4 overs to spare as they eflook to take momentum into the quarter-finals.
