GLAMORGAN have bolstered their bowling attack for the start of this season with a short term loan of Harry Podmore.

The 21-year-old joins from Middlesex for two months and will be available for the first six County Championship matches of the season.

The seam bowler is yet to make his first-class debut but has played six List A and 12 T20 matches with Middlesex over the last two seasons.

Glamorgan chief executive and director of cricket Hugh Morris said, “We have been aware of the progress Harry has made in recent seasons with Middlesex and his development work with the England fast bowling programme.

“He’s a bright, young fast bowling talent who will add depth to our seam bowling department, which is an area we identified needing strengthening.”
