WINNING the Bob Willis Trophy was a great way to finish the season - but it didn’t compare to the joy of lifting the County Championship title.
That’s the view of Essex coach Anthony McGrath, who saw his side overcome Somerset at Lord’s on the final day of a bizarre first class season.
And although he enjoyed winning another title with the county, he tells The Cricket Paper that he would welcome a return to two division cricket sooner rather than later.
