Youngsters benefit from One-Day Cup says Richard Pyrah

THE Royal London One Day Cup may have played second fiddle to The Hundred but Yorkshire are quick to dismiss suggestions that the 50-over competition is being devalued with many senior players absent from their side.
Instead, they are keen to emphasise how their younger players, such as wicket-keeper batsman Harry Duke, 19, leg spinner Josh Sullivan, 21, and all-rounder George Hill, 20, have been benefiting from appearing alongside former England batsman Gary Ballance, now skipper of the One-Day Cup team, who reached the knockout stages.
