Australian captain Tim vows to be fit for Ashes

AUSTRALIAN Test captain Tim Paine has vowed that he will win his race to be fit for the Ashes.The 36-year-old is to have surgery after it was found that the discomfort in his left arm and neck was being caused by a pinched nerve in his neck.Paine is planning to be training again next month before leading out Australia for the First Test in Brisbane on December 8.He said: “I will be ready to go by the first Test.“The consensus of the spinal surgeon and the Cricket Australia medical team was to have the surgery now which will allow plenty of time to fully prepare for ...
