SAM Robson may be one of the more orthodox batsmen in the Middlesex squad, but he has seized the opportunity to demonstrate how effective he can be in white-ball cricket this season.
Openings in the shorter formats have been limited for the 29-year-old, so he made up for lost time in his first List A outing in two years against Somerset at Radlett in the One- Day Cup last week.
His run-a-ball 106 was laced with boundaries and followed by another aggressive knock of 79 against Glamorgan.
