De Kock takes Brave to the brink of glory

SOUTHERN Brave eased to a third win in four Hundred matches to move to the top of the men’s table on Wednesday with skipper James Vince and the in-form Quinton de Kock inspiring the south coast side to an eight-wicket win thus ending Welsh Fire’s finals aspirations.
Chasing 145 for victory after the Fire chalked up a competitive score of 144-5, Vince combined elegance with big-hitting as he stroked 51 from 39 balls to help his side to the top of the table and looking well set for a place in the final on August 21.
