Brilliant Benny compounds Seaxers woe

BENNY Howell’s phenomenal spell helped Gloucestershire defend 171 to beat Middlesex by ten runs and leave the Seaxers rooted to the foot of the table.
Howell’s 3-23 from his four overs sent Gloucestershire into third in the South Group to revive their chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals.
Gloucestershire did not cut loose with the bat until a late burst from new father Ryan Higgins, 43 from 25 balls, helped add 52 from the final fours overs as the home side posted 171-8.
Middlesex were reasonably well placed at 90-3 in the 12th over but fell away badly with Max Holden’s unbeate...
