GRAHAM Gooch is backing England’s youngsters to bounce back from their recent struggles against India and New Zealand – and emerge stronger from the experience, writes RICHARD EDWARDS.
The former England skipper believes that the likes of Ollie Pope and Zac Crawley – both of whom have endured a miserable run of form in the longest format – can put their recent lessons to good use and re-find their feet at the top level sooner rather than later.
