Dominic Cork puts a stop to Billy Godleman reign

DERBYSHIRE’S T20 head coach Dominic Cork hopes that the decision to axe Billy Godleman as their Blast captain and take him out of the team will help him in the long run.
Godleman has struggled for runs so far this season and has now been replaced as skipper by Matt Critchley.
Cork said: “I’ve spoken to Billy and now is the right time to pull him out of the cauldron.
“It’s been a tough time for Billy, he hasn’t shirked any responsibility, but as a coach, it would be unfair to just keep letting him go on and on.”
