PAUL Allott is looking forward to his new role at Lancashire.Allott will stand down as the club’s director of cricket at the end of the season and then take on an all-encompassing role that will see him targeting new signings and working on the club’s new ground project and their TV channel.Allott, who played for Lancashire between 1978 and 1992, said: “I feel that the time is now right to step back from my full-time duties.”
