Liam Dawson stars as Hawks soar over Eagles

LIAM Dawson praised his side’s bowling attack after Hampshire Hawks registered their first win of the T20 season, beating Essex Eagles by 13 runs, writes JONNY BRAY.
The Hawks hit 155-6 after batting first thanks to Joe Weatherley (42), however, Sam Cook took 2-21 for the Eagles.
Tom Westley (44) starred with the bat for the Eagles, but a solid bowling performance from Brad Wheal, who took 2-35, limited them to 142 all out.
