CHRIS GREEN rued a win that got away after Middlesex fell 16 runs short of Kent Spitfires’ total in the T20 Blast.
The Spitfires hit 178-8 despite Green taking 5-32 while Middlesex mustered 162-8, thanks in part to ageless Spitfires all-rounder Darren Stevens, who took 3-32, thus continuing his glorious season.
Jack Leaning starred with the bat for the Spitfires, hitting 64 off 42 balls, while Luke Hollman hit 51 for Middlesex.
