Millfield begin title defence with aplomb

The past week has seen the start of the School’s cricket season and with both the qualifying and first rounds of the The Cricket Paper U17 National Schools Cup, there has been plenty of action taking place across the UK.

Already the competition has showcased some outstanding team
and individual performances.

Holders Millfield set the tone with a 198-run victory over Clifton College. While Tom Wallis of The Portsmouth Grammar School, posted the first century of the tournament with 106 not out.
