GLAMORGAN’S head coach Matt Maynard hopes to make one final big fundraising push for the Tom Maynard Trust with the Wellyman Walking Challenge.Maynard will walk the 187 miles from Cardiff, where his son was born in 1989, to Colwyn Bay – the site of his pro debut.The Trust will be winding down it’s fundraising next year and money raised from the challenge will help to build a family practice facility at Sophia Gardens.Maynard said: “It will be 20-25 miles per day and it will be hard graft.”
