IAN BELL believes England are on the brink of having a batting line-up that can not only help them return to the top of world cricket but can also wrest back the Ashes next year.
In their 2-1 series win against the West Indies as well as on their tours of New Zealand and South Africa last winter, Joe Root’s side finally batted with more of the grit and guile that Test cricket demands.
