NOTTINGHAMSHIRE all-rounder Peter Trego is hoping for success with a different kind of ball.
Trego will tee-up at Hollinewell Golf Club in Nottinghamshire today in a bid to reach final qualifying at the same course on Tuesday for The 149th Open at Royal St George’s from July 15-18.
The 40-year-old has scored nearly 20,000 first-class runs and taken nearly 650 wickets in a professional career spanning over 20 years.
