Borthwick is lured by the offer to come home

SCOTT Borthwick admits he couldn’t resist the lure of his hometown club after returning to Durham from Surrey this week.
Borthwick, 30, was released from the final year of his contract at The Oval so he could sign a five-year deal back at the Riverside.
He had originally moved to Surrey from Durham back in 2017.
“This is a really exciting opportunity,” said the opener, who won his only England Test cap against Australia at Sydney in 2014.
