DERBYSHIRE are ready to consider using Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Ben Mc-Dermott in the County Championship.McDermott had initially been signed to play white-ball cricket.But head of cricket Dave Houghton has hinted he could be used in the Championship as well.“Should we want to use Ben in our four-day games, we can,” he said.“He’s keen to play first-class cricket, so that’s a bonus for us.”
