ANDREW Strauss has defended the ECB’s decision to rest England bowlers Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson from the County Championship matches starting today.
The England management are preventing Broad playing in Nottinghamshire’s clash at Durham, while Anderson is not part of Lancashire’s squad at the Oval.
