ALLSCOTT Heath cricket club have set up a fundraiser for opening batsman Jack Case after he suffered a sickening injury while fielding as his leg was impaled on a metal spike.The 25-year-old slid to prevent a boundary when his calf was pierced by the 10-inch spike and required four hours of surgery to repair the damage.Case is a self-employed bricklayer and now faces three months of not being able to work, so his teammates are trying to raise money.Case told the Shropshire Star: “I was fielding on the boundary and was running around and slid to stop the ball.
