BURNLEY captain Dan Pickup paid tribute to his side for overcoming adversity as they lie on the cusp of winning the title in Division One of the Lancashire League.
Pickup’s team were forced to deal with their professional pulling out on the eve of the season, circumstances they have nevertheless adapted to admirably, much to the captain’s delight.
