Blunham play on for a week

RAIN could not stop play at Blunham Cricket Club as they broke the world record for the longest continuous game of cricket.
In an effort to raise funds for charity and a new pitch at the club, Blunham players played for a mammoth 168 hours and 20 minutes straight, over seven days, all while braving the elements.
It all proved worth it, too, as the club raised a staggering £35,000 with 20 per cent of the donations going to charities Sue Ryder and Mind. Throughout the recordbreaking stint members of the public visited and enjoyed discos, picnics and more al...
