TO OWN one world record is impressive enough, so Rodley CC now having two to their name qualifies as incredible.
The Bradford & District League club set the record for most overs bowled in eight hours, with 734, last year and this time around were attempting 2,000 in 24 hours.
With last week’s record attempt set to end at 6pm, organiser Alex Riddell claims the club has surpassed 2,500 by 11:30am and will now wait for verification from Guinness World Record officials.
